Tom-Tom is a 48ft Peter Nicholls narrow beam inspection launch,
built 1987 with unique dual steering
positions & beaver stern. Canopied forward cockpit with see-through
vinyl windows for all weather
cruising. These can be curtained off for privacy at night-time
when using the forward cockpit
as an extra sleeping cabin.
Sleeps 4/6: stern cabin with double/twin; saloon, convertible
double; cockpit, occasional double.
Fully tiled shower with wash basin and separate Porta Potti with
wash basin.
4 burner gas hob, oven and grill. Solid fuel stove. These items
fitted mid nineties.
Alde gas central heating, gas fridge.
In the late nineties 800 watt inverter & charger with land-line
connection & new batteries were fitted.
Front cockpit and stern Vetus hydraulic dual steering and control.
Mitsubishi 4 cylinder diesel 33 hp engine with calorifier and
new gearbox. Vetus bow thruster.
The boat can also be steered from the stern with second wheel
steering, second bow thruster
and throttle positions. Bottom black and anode replacement November
2002 - BSC to April 2007.
